As part of its calling and in order to take advantage of the innovative possibilities offered by new information and communication technologies, the

Ø The penetration of modern scientific ideas in
Precursors, pioneers, contributors explorers and passing scholars; before the protectorate, under the protectorate and after independence.
- Participation to the universal scientific effort: nature, modalities, tests of strength. Costs and results.
- Tunisian and European scientists from Tunisia: who are they? What have they accomplished?
- Penetration and scientific investigation modes: official institutions, learned societies, specialized magazines, mavericks..
Practical information:
1. All contributions are welcome (biographies, bibliographies, archival documents of any kind, press and magazine articles, in-depth analysis, approaches, analyses..)
2. The Academy will select, order and synthesize all the material collected in view of gathering them in a folder and perhaps in a book whose contents shall be defined depending on the nature and number of contributions received and of the material available for processing.
3. Participation in the project does not involve any remuneration whatsoever.
4. Participants are kindly urged to provide data concerning them and the sources used, as well as their references by filling in the model provided herafter.
5. They are kindly urged to take into account the issue of copyrights.
6. Participants will be informed in due time of the progress of the project and of the approach to be used subsequently.
